The Cuttack Sadar police have launched a manhunt to nab Jagannath Samal (21)
Balaram Samal (14), sons of Ramesh Samal of Kajipatana for killing their uncle
(father’s younger brother) Umesh Samal (35) on Sunday night.

and Balaram stabbed Umesh to death in a knife at 10 pm on Sunday night over
previous rivalry.

Umesh
had a land dispute with his elder brother Ramesh and on August 15, 2013, Umesh
had attacked Raemsh and absconded. Following which a case under section 307
(attempt to murder) was registered against Umesh at that time. When Umesh came
to his house on Sunday night last Ramesh’s two sons Jagannath and Balaram
attacked him in a knife resulting in his death on the spot and absconded.
