Week long Odisha MSME intl trade fair-2014 from Jan 1

Bhubaneswar: The State Micro, Small and
Medium Enterprises (MSME) department will organsie a seven-day-long trade fair
at IDCO exhibition ground from January 1 to 7 in the name and style of Odisha
MSME International Trade Fair-2014.

Large
number of low cost technologies would be demonstrated in the trade fair which
would be helpful for the youth who would like to become self employed. The
theme of the fair this year would be technology for self employment, said a
Government press release.

Exhibitions
help in promotion, marketing and publicity efforts of participating enterprises
especially to MSMEs as the micro and small enterprises find it difficult to
give publicity to their products in print and electronic media due to financial
constraints.

A
preparatory meeting was held under the chairmanship of Health and Family
Welfare and MSME Minister Dr Damodar Rout which emphasized on adequate
publicity regarding the fair to ensure that a large number of unemployed youths
of the State could attend to gather knowledge on establishing micro, small and
medium industries.
