OTDC announces spl package for Rath Yatra

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha
Tourism Development Corporation (OTDC) on Tuesday announced special tour
packages for the ensuing annual Rath Yatra and Bahuda Yatra scheduled on June
29 and July 7 respectively at Puri. 
 

According to OTDC
chairman Narendra Swain the OTDC has developed a one day package for tourists
of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack and two nights and one day for Sambalpur tourists
this year. 
“While the cost per ticket
for Bhubaneswar and Cuttack tourists is Rs 3,650 for adults and Rs 2,650 for
child below 12 years, for Sambalpur people it is Rs 4,490 for adult and Rs
4,110 for child. The package includes AC transport, food (breakfast, lunch,
afternoon tea and snacks and dinner for Sambalpur tourists) only,” Swain told
mediapersons here. 
He also informed that
sitting arrangements have been made for 120 people on the roof top near the
temple with guide services in first come first service basis this year.  
Apart from the special
package, AC buses will also ply from Bhubaneswar to Puri on June 29 which will
leave the city Panthanivas for Puri sharp at 7 am and will also leave
Panthanivas Puri at 6.30 pm for Bhubaneswar. 
“Tourists and general
public can avail this service by paying Rs 500 per head,” said Tourism Director
Manoranjan Pattnaik, adding that tourists of the capital city can visit Puri
from June 30 to July 7 by paying Rs 600 per head in AC busues with morning tea,
snacks and lunch.
