Many BJD, Congress heavyweights are set to join BJP, claims Arun Singh

Bhubaneswar, October 21:
Senior BJP leader and Odisha in-charge Arun Singh on Tuesday said some top
leaders of the ruling BJD and main opposition Congress, are ready to join the
BJP in the coming days.
“Many heavyweight
leaders from the Congress and the BJD are ready to join the Bharatiya Janata
Party (BJP) because they feel suffocated in their parties,” Singh told
mediapersons here.
“After seeing the BJP’s
performance in general elections and governance and leadership quality of Prime
Minister Narendra Modi, many leaders of both the Congress and BJD are
approaching us. In the coming days, they are expected to join our party,” Singh
claimed.
However, he did not
divulge more on leaders’ names who are interested to join the saffron party.

Kesari Deb they have no information about the issue and said many BJP leaders are
in touch with the ruling BJD for joining the regional party.
PCC president Jayadev
Jena also clarified that nobody from the party will join the ‘communal’ party
at any cost.
“At this stage, nobody
from the grand old party will prefer to join the communal BJP,” said Jena.
