Koraput, August 5: Professor Sachidananda Mohanty hasappointed as the new Vice-Chancellor of the Central University of Orissa (CUO)
Koraput, said a communiqué received from the Ministry of Human Resources
Development (MHRD) on Tuesday.
Prof Mohanty, the former HoD of English at the University of
Hyderabad, will take full charge of the university soon. He has 26 books in English and in Odia
languages to his credit. Prof Mohanty is the recipient of several national and
international awards including those from the British Council, the Salzburg,
the Katha and the Fulbright.
