IPS duo head for Centre

Bhubaneswar, July 26: Two
IPS officers from Odisha were picked for central deputation. 

The officers selected
are Deepak Kumar (2004 batch) and Amrita Dash (2006 batch). While Kumar will be
deputed as SP with the National Investigation Agency (NIA), New Delhi, Dash will
join as the Assistant Director (SP level) at Sardar Ballav Bhai Patel National Police
Academy, Hyderabad. 
They will be deputed for a period of four years from the
date of joining.
Kumar is at present serving
as Bolangir SP while Dash is serving as the DCP, Commissionerate Police
Headquarters. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has already given his nod in
this regard.
