Panagariya to open Vikash Conclave tomorrow

Bhubaneswar, Sep 18: NITI Aayog Vice-Chairman Arvind
Panagariya will inaugurate the three-day ‘Odisha Vikash Conclave-16’ starting
Monday here.

The multi-sector brain storming event’s inaugural session
will also be attended by Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra
Pradhan and Odisha Health and Family Welfare Minister Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak as
guests of honour.
Odisha Vikash Conclave is a great platform where multiple
stakeholders like Government officials, policy makers, civil society, academia,
research institutes and private sector can share their thoughts and
understanding on the development challenges in the State of Odisha.
Aimed at identifying the unresolved issues for long term,
medium and immediate action in harmony, the second day of the conclave will
have 11 parallel tracks at 11 venues where stakeholders of respective fields
will discuss the current situation and way forward.  
Tribal empowerment and development, disasters and climate action,
livelihoods, food and nutrition security, health, water sanitation and hygiene,
education and quality learning, access to basic services and social inclusion
and sustainable development partnership are the key areas on which different
tracks will be conducted to prepare a development roadmap for Odisha.
