CM announces slew of projects at Collectors’ conference

October 28, 2017:  Like in Sambalpur, the
State Government will set up Science Park in all the district headquarters
across Odisha, announced Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik here at the district Collectors’
conference on Saturday. 
The Chief
Minister announced a slew of projects at the conference.
“All the fluoride
affected villages will be provided with filters in Nuapada district. About 300
villages will be benefited due to the project,” said Patnaik.
Chemotherapy
facilities will be expanded to places where the incidence is more and 121 dialysis
units will be distributed to districts, said Patnaik.
“Government
will sanction seven railway under-passes for Koraput district,” added Patnaik.
The CM
announced that mega pipe water supply will be taken up in salinity affected
areas of Bhadrak, Puri and Kendrapara and drought lift points will be repaired
on priority in drought areas.
Construction
workers pension sanctions will be decentralised to district level.
Puri
district will have a separate protocol wing so that administration can focus on
development works, announced the CM.

The corpus
fund in health which is given for KBK districts is now extended for all tribal
districts as well so that specialists can be hired, the CM further said.
