Kulamani Biswal’s three-day literary jamboree concludes

New Delhi: A three-day literary jamboree held at Art Gallery in Siri Fort, New Delhi concluded recently.

It was a proverbial aesthetic indulgence with book releases, art exhibition and poetry recitation. Every evening, people thronged the venue and relished and rejoiced in the flavour of the exotic creation of Kulamani Biswal who is a prolific author, poet, painter, song writer and an administrator rolled into one.

The first evening of the extravaganza came alive with a fabulous exhibition of his artwork. Inaugurating the occasion, Union Parliamentary Affairs Secretary SN Tripathy appreciated the noble effort in Delhi by an Odia like Kulamani Biswal. Others who graced the occasion as guests of honor were prominent administrators like Manoj Parida, Manoj Mishra and noted artist Gurusharan Chitrakar.

The second evening held a delightful marriage of lilting poems and lovely paintings entitled as ‘Premardhshatak’. Kick starting this chapter of the ceremony, former CIC Satyanarayan Mishra said that all these artistic creations will sure mesmerize the audiences. Dr Yosdhara Mishra, Shovan Pattanaik and Satyanarayan Mahanty also spoke.

Noted litterateur Bijaya Malla, Narendra Bora, Rama Chandra Nath, Gobardhan Dhal also graced the occasion. On this occasion, Mahamanch felicitated poet and painter Kulamani Biswal.

On the concluding evening, a VCD prepared on the theme of six seasons was dedicated by Union Water Resources Secretary Upendra Prasad Singh.

The VCD having all its lyrics penned by the poet Biswal features the acting of popular actors. The other guests adorning the dais were senior administrator Sandeep Nayak, Managing Director, PTC, Dr Paban Singh, singers Chitra and Archana Singh. Paban Singh showered praise on poet Biswal.
