Naveen Patnaik salutes IAF for air strikes in Pakistan

Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday hailed the Indian Air Force (IAF) for carrying out air strikes in Pakistan.

“Salute the #IndianAirForce for pre-dawn air strikes on terror camps in defence of our Nation. #JaiHind,” tweeted Patnaik.

India on Tuesday carried out pre-dawn air strikes on terror launch pads inside Pakistan and targeted terror camps of Jaish-e-Mohammad.

At least 12 2000 Mirage fighter jets of the Indian Air Force successfully destroyed training camp of Pakistan-based terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad in Balakot in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

The air strike comes amid heightened tension between India and Pakistan following the attack by Jaish-e-Mohammad terror group in Kashmir’s Pulwama district that killed 40 CRPF soldiers on February 14.
