Cuttack: A two-day ‘Mega Rozgar Mela and Skill Exhibition’ concluded here on Wednesday in which around 3,000 youths were selected for various job roles in construction sectors.
The Rozgal Mela was organised by Construction Skill Development Council of India (CSDCI) in association with Demorgia Consulting Services.
More than 40 companies including L&T, HRM Constructions, MB Infratech, KCS Eng & consultant, Manlift, SPD construction, I-Clean, OLA Cabs, Orion, Burger King, Konark Bituminus company and Western Refrigerators, Dreamplast India Pvt. Ltd participated in the job fair to employ the youth of Odisha under construction sector.
Around 3000 candidates from across the State registered in the fair and thousands were selected for about 120 job roles under CSDCI such as Mason, Carpenter, Barbender, Helper, Electrician, Machine Operator, Delivery boys, Pick n packers and job roles of construction.
CSDCI CEO Anand Singh and Devi Prasad of NSDC supervised the job fair.
