Amit Shah to address public meetings in Odisha on April 27

Bhubaneswar: BJP national president Amit Shah will address public meetings in Mayurbhanj and Jajpur on April 27, informed party spokesperson Golak Mohapatra.

He also informed that Union Ministers Nitin Gadkari and Rajnath Singh will hold public meetings in the State on April 24 and 25, respectively.

The BJP heavyweights will campaign for the party candidates contesting the Assembly and Lok Sabha elections.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also visit the State once again on April 23 as part of his election campaign. During his one-day visit Modi will address a public rally in Kendrapara and Balasore. The saffron party has fielded former BJD veteran Baijayant Panda and Pratap Sarangi from Kendrapara and Balasore Lok Sabha constituencies, respectively.

Elections are being held in four phases in the State on April 11, 18, 23 and 29.

Notably, Modi addressed two election rallies in Sambalpur and Bhubaneswar on April 16 besides holding a mega roadshow in the State capital to bolster the prospects of the BJP.

The party has fielded candidates for all the 21 Lok Sabha and 147 Assembly segments in the State.
