Manisha Acharya selected for prestigious British Chevening Fellowship

Bhubaneswar: Dr. Manisha Acharya has been selected for prestigious British Chevening Fellowship for studying Science Research & Innovation Leadership [CRISP] at University of Oxford, UK during April to June 2019.

Currently Dr Acharya is leading Indigram Labs Foundation (ILF), New Delhi as CEO which is a Technology Business Incubator and Accelerator focusing on Agriculture, Agri-Tech, Agri-IOT [Internet of Things], Food processing etc to revolutionalise Agriculture and Food processing sectors with use of technology.

Earlier she was selected as a member of Indian delegation to the Silicon Valley, USA, the cradle of Start Up innovations, to study and interact with the Start Up Eco-system there in 2018. She was also selected by Asian Productivity Organisation, Tokyo to participate in the Conference of Technology Incubators from Asia – Pacific held at Taipei, Taiwan during 2012.

Several research papers and articles of Dr.Acharya have been published in National / International journals. She did her Post Graduation in Life Sciences from Utkal University, Vanivihar and Ph.D from Lucknow University. She is the wife of Dr.Subhransu Acharya, General Manager, SIDBI, daughter of KishoriLal Nanda and Muktipriya Nanda of Baripada and   daughter in Law of Baikuntha Nath Acharya and KusumaLata Acharya of Cuttack.

She is leading Vanivihar Old Students Society, Delhi Chapter (VOSS 92) as Coordinator. Priyabrat Mohanty, President, Gadadhar Rath, Secretary, Pitabasa Jena, Convenor, Dr.Bankim Chandra Tripathy , Asst.Secretary and other members of VOSS 92 have congratulated Dr. Acharya  for  her outstanding achievement and wished a good time at Oxford University.
