Vedanta donates 5K dustbins in Jharsuguda

Bhubaneswar: The Vedanta Limited has donated 5,000 dustbins to the Jharsuguda district administration with aim for effective waste management  in the Jharsuguda Municipality area.

On June 20, the first phase of distribution took place at Sunarimunda, where 100 twin bins (blue for dry waste and yellow for wet waste) were distributed to the people.

The company donated the dustbins keeping in view the aim of the district administration to provide each household with dustbins for proper waste segregation and management.

“We will continue to work in close coordination with the district administration for betterment of people of Jharsuguda,” said Vedanta CSR head Sundar Raj.

On the occasion DRDA PD Satyanarayan Dash and municipality Executive Officer Ramachandra Pradhan graced as guests.
