CM appeals for donations to strengthen Odisha’s fight against Coronavirus

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday appealed to citizens to come forward to donate through to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) to strengthen Odisha’s fight against the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).

The Chief Minister urged the citizens to donate through http://cmrfodisha.gov.in.

“Human race is facing one of the gravest challenges due to #COVID19 pandemic. Appeal everyone to come forward to donate through http://cmrfodisha.gov.in to strengthen #Odisha’s fight against #CoronaVirus,” tweeted Patnaik.

Odisha has so far recorded 39 positive cases of Coronavirus, of which two patients have been cured and discharged from hospitals. Of the total 39 positive cases, Bhubaneswar alone recorded 32 cases alone. While Bhadrak reported three positive cases, Puri, Cuttack, Jajpur and Kalahandi reported one each.

There are 37 active cases in the State now.
