Two more Covid-19 positive cases in Odisha, tally rises to 44

Bhubaneswar: Odisha on Thursday reported two more Coronavirus positive cases, taking the total number of positive cases in Odisha to 44, of which two patients have been cured and discharged and one succumbed to the disease.

According to the Health and Family Welfare Department, a 51-year-old woman from Dhenkanal and 69-year-old man from Medinipur from West Bengal, who was being treated in a private hospital here, tested positive on Thursday. The 69-year-old man was directly brought to a private hospital here from West Bengal in an ambulance.

“2 new COVID-19 POSITIVE cases confirmed so far today. 1 Dhenkanal town case, female 51 years. 1 patient of a Bhubaneswar based private hospital, male 69 years of Medinipur, WB. Brought in ambulance directly from WB,” tweeted the H & FW Department.

State Government Spokesperson on Covid-19 Subroto Bagchi will share the details about the developments during the daily press briefing.
