Special train between Puri-Gunupur from April 22

Bubaneswar, March 31: The East Coast Railway (ECoR) has decided to run a Special Express Train between Puri and Gunupur.

The services will start from April 22 from Puri and from April 23 from Gunupur till further advice, said an official release.

According to an ECoR release, the Puri-Gunupur Special (08417) will leave from Puri at 9.30 AM and will reach at Gunupur at 8.50 PM. In the return direction, Gunupur-Puri Special (08418) will leave from Gunupur at 6 AM on April 23 and will arrive at Puri at 3.45 PM.

Puri-Gunupur-Puri Special Train has six second Class Reserved Seating Coach and Two Guard-cum-Luggage Van in it’s composition having stoppages at Sakhigopal, Birpurusottampur, Delang, Kanas Road, Motari, Khurda Road, Tapang, Nirajkapur, Bhusandpur, Kalupadaghat, Kuhuri, Gangadharpur, Balugaon, Chilka, Khalikot, Rambha, Humma, Ganjam, Chhatrapur, Jagannathpur, Brahmapur, Golanthara, Surla Road, Ichhapuram, Sompeta, Mandasa Road, Palasa, Pundi, Naupada, Tekkali, Pathapatnam, Parlakhemundi, Kashinagar and Banasadhara between Puri and Gunupur from both the directions.
