Bhubaneswar-Nayagarh Sewa Express to be flagged off today

Bhubaneswar: Bhubaneswar-Nayagarh Town Sewa Expeess will be introduced on Tuesday by Union Railways Minister Piyush Goyal through video conferencing from New Delhi in the presence of Union Petroleum and Natural Gas and Steel Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. The train will run on a daily basis.

Local MPs, MLAs will also present at Bhubaneswar station on this occasion.

According to an East Coast Railway communiqué, the new train will leave Bhubaneswar at 6.40 am and will reach at Nayagarh Town at 8.45 am. In the return direction, this train will leave Nayagarh Town at 6.30 am and will arrive at Bhubaneswar at 9 am.

In view of introduction of Sewa Express, the timings of earlier running passenger trains between Khurda Road and Nayagarh Town has also been revised for operational feasibility.

Khurda Road-Nayagarh Town Passenger (58431) will leave Khurda Road at 8.20 am instead of earlier timings at 7.15 am and will reach at Nayagarh Town at 9.45 am instead of earlier timings at 8.55 am. In the return direction, 58432 Nayagarh Town-Khurda Road passenger will leave at Nayagarh Town at 10 am instead of earlier timings at 9.20 am and will reach at Khurda Road at 11.45 am instead of 11.05 am, it said.

Similarly, 58429 Khurda Road-Nayagarh Town Passenger will leave Khurda Road at 8.15 am instead of 7.30 am and will reach at Nayagarh Town at 9.40 am instead of 9.10 am, it added.

In the return direction, the timings of 58430 Nayagarh Town-Khurda Road passenger will remain unchanged. This train will leave Nayagarh Town at 5 am and will reach at Khurda Road at 6.45 am, it stated.
