ECoR announces cancellation, partial cancellation & stoppages of trains due to lockdown in West Bengal

Bhubaneswar: Train services have been affected due to the complete lockdown in West Bengal. The neighbouring State is observing complete lockdown on July 25 and 29 to break the COVID-19 chain.  

According to an East Coast Railway (ECoR) statement, Sealdah (Kolkata)-Bhubaneswar-Sealdah Duronto Special 02201/02202) from Sealdah and Bhubaneswar will remain cancelled on July 27 and July 28, respectively.

Similarly, Bhubaneswar-Howrah-Bhubaneswar Special (02074/02073) will remain suspended on July 25 and 29 from both the directions while Yesvantpur-Howrah-Yesvantpur Duronto Special (02246/02245) will remain cancelled from Yesvantpur on July 28 and from Howrah on July 29.

Howrah-Secunderabad-Howrah Special (02703/02704) will remain cancelled between Bhubaneswar and Howrah on July 29.

Secunderabad-Howrah Special (02704) from Secunderabad will run up to Bhubaneswar on July 28 and remain cancelled from Bhubaneswar to Howrah.

Howrah-Secunderabad Special (02703) from Howrah on July 29 will be cancelled between Howrah and Bhubaneswar and will originate from Bhubaneswar instead of Howrah towards Secunderabad.

Similarly, stoppages of two trains have been withdrawn on July 29.

As per the release, stoppages for Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Special (02801/02802) at Purulia Junction and Bhubaneswar-New Delhi AC Special (02823/02824) at Hijli have been withdrawn on July 29.
