Journalists from Maharashtra visit Bhubaneswar PIB office

Bhubaneswar: Six senior journalists from Maharashtra visited the Press Information Bureau (PIB) office here under the Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat (EBSB) programme on Friday.

They are on a six-day visit to Odisha under EBSB. The delegation actively interacted with the journalists and officials of the PIB here where they were briefed about the rich culture, traditions, tourism potentials, and practices of Odisha thereby strengthening the unity and integrity of India.

The visiting team were also briefed about the current status, prospective of media sector in Odisha. The team included PIB Mumbai Deputy Director Dr Rahul Tidke, Nilesh D, Brijmohan Patil, Sunil Nandgaonkar, Dipal Nikam and Biswa Bhusan Chhottray.

During their six-day tour, the team will visit Jagannath Temple in Puri, Konark Sun Temple, Lingaraj Temple, Chilika Lake, Maniabandh in Cuttack, famous for its intricate tie-dye sarees, Pipili and Raghurajpur.

The Regional Outreach Bureau Director Dr Akhil Kumar Mishra, PIB Bhubaneswar Deputy Director Sitanath Mishra, Public Relations Officer Dr Pradip Kumar Choudhury among many journalists from different media houses were present during the programme.
