Bhubaneswar: Odisha becomes the first State in the country to use space technology to safeguard Government lands in its capital city Bhubaneswar as Chief Minister Navey Patnaik launched Bhubaneswar Land Use Intelligence System & AI along seven other tech solutions under 5T for Home & General Administration Departments through video conferencing here on Wednesday.
Launching the services, Patnaik said that the 5T model of governance along with Mo Sarkar has brought about a perceptible improvement in the quality of governance and has eased the delivery of public services.
The Chief Minister expressed happiness that Odisha is the first state in the country to have put in place an advanced system which uses space technology and artificial intelligence to safeguard precious Government lands in Bhubaneswar and ensure planned development.
“We must ensure that all public services are delivered online and no citizen needs to visit a Government office for this purpose. Since the earlier deadline of August 15, 2020 has been delayed for Covid, the deadline was now extended till October 2 this year,” said Patnaik.
Speaking on the occasion Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy said that 105 types of services are being provided online.
