Koraput: Ahead of his visit to Odisha, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said that Odisha deserves a good Government and BJP will fulfil it.
“The ruling-BJD has been unable to fulfil the needs of people while Congress has failed to play the role of an Opposition in the State. So, Odisha deserves a good government and BJP will fulfil it,” Modi took to the twitter to express his enthusiasm to address a public meeting in Jeypore.
Modi will begin his election campaign from Jeypore town in Koraput district on Friday. He will address a gathering at Bankabija Ground, at Ekamba in Jeypore. This will be Prime Minister’s first visit to the State after election schedule was announced on March 10.
The Prime Minister will also address an election meeting at Bhawanipatna, the district headquarters town of Kalahandi on April 2. Modi will highlight several schemes which have been implemented by his Government for the welfare of the poor people and women empowerment.
Koraput and Kalahandi are among the four Lok Sabha constituencies in the State where polling will be held on April 11 in the first phase.
