Vedanta’s health camp at Lanjigarh benefits 600 villagers

Lanjigarh: Around 600 villagers from across 70 villages were benefitted from various medical services at the multi-speciality health camp organized by Vedanta Ltd’s Lanjigarh unit here on Sunday marking the World Health Day.

The patients were benefited from various medical services like ophthalmology, orthopaedic, dental, paediatric, ENT care, X-Ray and O&G treatment, tuberculosis, and general health check-up to name a few.

Vedanta Lanjigarh unit COO Rakesh Mohan supervised the camp.

Apart from the health camps, Vedanta’s Lanjigarh unit has long-standing interventions in sanitation including the Open Defecation Free (ODF) initiative under the Swachhta Project, Mobile Health Units (MHUs) to provide health care to people living in remote areas across 80 villages.
