DHENKANAL: In a shocking incident, unidentified miscreants
murdered four members of a family including two women in Joranda, the famous
seat of Mahima cult, on Sunday.

Sources said local people found bodies of their neighbour a mason
by profession, Makardhwaj Behera, his wife, son and daughter, with their throat
slit open, in the early morning hours. Subsequently, they informed the local
police.

While local traced the body of the son of Makardhwaj in a
pool of blood inside the home bodies of three others including Makardhwaj, his
wife and daughter were traced from a well with throat slit.

Meanwhile, police along with a scientific team reached the
spot and sent the bodies for postmortem and started investigation.
