Odisha Single Window clears 3 projects of Rs 874 crore

Bhubaneswar, July 26: State
Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) headed by Chief Secretary Aditya
Prasad Padhi on Tuesday accorded in principle approval to three investment
projects worth Rs 874 crore.
Chairing a meeting of
the SLSWCA Padhi directed the concerned departments to facilitate grounding of
these projects by quickening the procedures of various compliances and also directed
all district Collectors to conduct District Level Single Window Committee (DLSWC)
meetings regularly and plan for development of industrial ventures, small and medium
enterprises in the districts.

Industry Sanjeeb Chopra presented the details of the investment proposals and
outlined the issues for discussion.
After emerging out of
the meeting IPCOL General Manager Kalyan Mohanty told reporter that three
approved project proposals of Coca-Cola Beverages Pvt Ltd for expansion of its
non-alcoholic plant at industrial estate Khurda with a total investment of Rs500
crore. This would generate employment for 348 persons.
The second approved
project was of S P & A Bottlers Ltd which would set up 2.50 lakh hectoliter
capacity brewery at Balarampur of Dhenkal district with an investment of Rs102
crore which would generate employment for 116 persons.
The third project was Bharat
Petroleum Corporation Ltd to set up a Common User Facility center at Dhutra of
Jharsuguda district for storage of petroleum products with investment of Rs 272
crore. The unit would provide employment to around 166 persons.
The projects under
State Projects Monitoring Group (SPMG) were also reviewed in the meeting. The projects
included Gandhamardan-B mining project of OMC, Daitari Mining project of OMC,
South Kaliapani Mining project of OMC, Construction of 220 KV Transmission Line
from Laxmipur to Damonjodi Aditya Almunium Project, approach road to RSB
Transmission Pvt Ltd,  Establishment of
railway siding in Jalpaposhi village of Keonjhar district by Bhusan Steel Ltd,
Construction of Odisha Power Generation Corporation ash pond in Jharsguda
distruct, construction of railway corridor in Jharsguda Sundargarh districts,
construction of flay over at Info-valley and Khandagiri crossings in
Bhabaneswar, widening of road from Mendhasala to Sea Food park at Deras,
development of aluminum park at Angul, Capital region Improvement of Power
System project etc figured in the meeting. The issues relating to land
acquisition, forest diversion, distribution of compensation, peripheral
development activities etc were discussed and resolved in the meeting.
 
Principal Secretaries
of Steel and Mines Raj Kumar Sharma, Gagan Kumar Dhal (MSME), IDCO CMD Sanjaya
Singh, OMC MD Veenel Krishna and other senior State Government officials.
