Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will campaign in Bhubaneswar and Sambalpur on April 16 while BJP national president Amit Shah will hold rallies on Friday in Keonjhar and also in Cuttack and Dhenkanal districts on April 17 to bolster the prospects of the party in the ongoing elections, informed party spokesperson Golak Mohapatra on Thursday.
Shah will arrive at Keonjhar at 11 am on Friday and addressed Vijay Sankalap Samabesh at Medical Ground. He will also visit the State on April 17 when he will address two rallies at Mahisapata in Dhanekanal district and Tennis Ground in Badamba in Cuttack district.
Modi will address two public rallies at Bhubaneswar and Sambalpur on April 16, said BJP sources.
The Prime Minister will visit Odisha on April 16 and address two rallies in Sambalpur and Bhubaneswar.
“The Prime Minister will reach Sambalpur at 11 am on April 16 and address a Vijay Sankalp Samavesh at Lorup near Hirakud Road. Later in the day, he will address a rally at Baramunda Ground at 5 pm,” added Mohapatra.
Meanwhile, the PM addressed election rallies in Sundargarh and Sonepur in western Odisha where voting for simultaneous assembly and Lok Sabha polls will take place in second phase on April 18.
Voting in Keonjhar, Sambalpur and Cuttack Lok Sabha constituencies and the corresponding Assembly segments will be held in the third phase on April 23.
Earlier on April 9, Shah also led a roadshow in Puri. He had also visited Odisha on April 7 and addressed two election meetings at Polosara in Ganjam district and another at Baragarh in the western part of the State.
