Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik strongly condemned the Naxal attack on security personnel in Maharashtra’s Gadchiroli.
“Strongly condemn the cowardly attack on the security personnel in #Gadchiroli, Maharashtra. Salute to the brave police personnel who sacrificed their lives in the #naxalattack and heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families,” tweeted Patnaik.
At least 15 Quick Response Team (QRT) security personnel were killed in an improvised explosive device (IED) blast carried out by the Maoists place at Lendhri pool around 6km from Kurkheda in north Gadchiroli in Gadchiroli district in Maharashtra on Wednesday.
Earlier in the day, the ultras torched at least 25 vehicles of a road construction company in Gadchiroli district.
