Bhubaneswar: A two-day Chief District Medical Officers (CDMO) conference would be organised by the Health and Family Welfare Department here from June 19, informed an official release.
Health and Family Welfare Minister Naba Kishore Das would inaugurate the proposed conference and preside over the meeting to be attended by all CDMOs, Public Health Officers, Directors of the Capital Hospital and the RGH, Rourkela and all agencies working in the State’s health sector. The proposed meet would be held at the Rural Development conference hall at the State Secretariat.
On the first day, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Joint Secretary and National Health Mission Director Manoj Jalan, State Health and Family Welfare Secretary Dr Pramod Meherda and NHM Director Shalini Pandit would discuss on the current health services status and future plans.
They would also hold discussions with district Collectors through videoconferencing.
On the concluding day, discussions would be held on various schemes like Niramaya, Sunetra, Nidaan and immunization programme.
