Bhubaneswar: Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Limited celebrated ‘Resurgent Odisha’ at Puri sea beach on the occasion of Rath Yatra here.
Keeping in alignment with the theme, it made its presence felt through an innovative beach installation around the theme ‘punarudhhar’ (Resurgence) at Puri sea beach depicting the resilient spirit of the people of Odisha in its efforts to ‘join hands and rebuild life’ following the aftermath of cyclone Fani this year, said an press release.
As part of the celebrations, the company displayed relief efforts made for rehabilitation after the natural calamity including food prepared and distributed to over 1.5 lakh people, planting trees, resetting structures damaged.
Additionally, there was a ‘write a message’ wall adjoining the beach installation where visitors are encouraged to sign and express their solidarity with the people of Odisha.
Dalmia Cement Head – Sales and Marketing Indrajit Chatterjee graced the occasion.
