Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday asked his Minister colleagues to go for extensive field visits and to make surprise visit to offices under their department for reality check in grassroots level.
The Chief Minister chairing the Council of Ministers meeting asked his Ministers to meet people on the ground to take direct feedback on implementation of various welfare schemes of the State Government and ensure that problems are resolved at the earliest.
He also asked the Minister to work towards proper execution of State Government’s 5Ts (technology, teamwork, transparency and time leading to transformation by availing Odisha Secretariat Workflow Automation System (OSWAS).
Almost all the Ministers attended the meeting.
“The Chief Minister asked all the Ministers to go for extensive field visits to ensure speedy implementation of different welfare schemes under their departments,” said Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister after the meeting.
