Bhubaneswar: With lifestyle diseases like hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol and depression taking the young generation into its grip, Odisha-based Intraxis Business Limited on Saturday opened a multi-facility fitness center near Sai Temple at Tankapani Road here to help people fight the menace.
The Fit & Young Wellness Center provides fitness solutions to health conscious individuals by noted professional gym instructors.
“We have hired professionals who will guide the members well. Apart from fitness, we are offering wellness solutions too,” said Fit & Young founder Sabita Sahoo.
To mark this event, a host of gym instructors and trainers were invited. Among them Preity Agrawal, Santosh Kumar Sahoo and Sabita Sahoo graced the occasion. Sangeeta Bhujabal, Asutosh Pradhan, Anshuparna Das, Jyoti Gope and Binod Kumar Nayak were also present.
A gym tour and inaugural fitness class was also organized to mark the occassion. The wellness center emphasises on its special classes on aerobics, yoga, gym, modern dance, and zumba.
“With this initiative, it intends to create healthier lifestyles in a location where people are stressed with work and are prone to unhealthy food habits which have become a lifestyle disorder,” said Intraxis Business Limited director Biswajit Sahoo.
Fit & Young Wellness Center is a venture of Intraxis Business Limited which is a classified 10 year Odisha-based public incorporated company, having its branches in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Delhi, Vizag. It specializes in digital cinema advertising, shipping, FMCG distribution, construction, hospitality and specialty marketing.
Biswajit said that the facility will be expanded to other major cities in Odisha soon.
