Bhubaneswar: The Bolangir Branch of Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) in the name of Motilal Oswal-KISS Residential Tribal School will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday.
In the first phase, 1,500 students from Bolangir district will be enrolled from Standard I to XII. The passed out Standard XII students from Motilal Oswal-KISS can pursue their higher education in KISS Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar.
Only candidates from Bolangir district will get employment in the newly developed institute. The school, established on 20 acres of land with complete financial support from Motilal Oswal Foundation, is fully equipped with all modern facilities.
Women and Child Development and Mission Shakti Minister Tukuni Sahum, Bolangir MP Sangeeta Kumari Singh Deo, Bolangir MLA Narasingha Mishra, Motilal Oswal Financial Services Ltd Group MD & CEO Motilal Oswal, Financial Services Group Chairman Raamadeo Agrawal, Motilal Oswal Foundation Chairperson Suneeta Agrawal and KIIT & KISS founder and Kandhamal Lok Saba member Dr Achyuta Samanta will grace the occasion.
