Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday approved 5 per cent Dearness Allowance (DA) for Government employees with effect from January 1, 2020.
With this the Naveen Patnaik Government has increased the Dearness Allowance to 14 per cent from existing 9 per cent.
Patnaik also approved 10 per cent arrears of the Seventh Pay Commission.
“Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has approved 10% arrears of the 7th Pay Commission and 5% Dearness Allowance for the State Government employees with effect from January 1, 2020,” said a CMO statement.
