Cuttack: The Odisha Police is all set to hold special medical camp for detection of cancer among women police officers on March 8 on the occasion of International Women’s Day in Odisha.
This was informed by Director General of Police (DGP) Abhay on Thursday while holding a meeting with range IGs, DIGs, DCPc and SPs through video conferencing at State Police Headquarters here.
Several other important issues relating to State police like supply and stocking of uniform articles, timely monitoring of disciplinary proceedings, problems and challenges in implementation of CCTNS, reduction of pendency in investigation, timely submission of nomination for promotion of ASI to DCSI and nomination for cash Award and DGP’s Disc, nomination for Internal Security Medal and selection of land for building projects were discussed.
The DGP also directed the subordinates to ensure that law and order is maintained. He directed the officials to take prompt action against people indulging in road blockade and creating law and order.
Among others, ADG (Headquarters) V T Mishra, ADG (Law and Order) Saumendra Priyadarsi, IG (Modernisation) Rekha Lohani, IG (SCRB) Rajesh Kumar, IG (Provisioning) ) Yatindra Koyal and IG (CID) AN Sinha were present in the meeting.
