Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday deputed seven senior IAS officers to seven flood-hit districts to monitor flood situation.
While Hemant Sharma has moved to Kendrapada, DK Singh has moved to Cuttack. Vishal Dev has been deployed in Balasore district while Bishnupada Sethi has been moved to Bhadrak district. VV Yadav was assigned the task of flood management in Jajpur district while Satyabrata Sahu has been asked to neighbouring Jagatsinghpur district.
Revenue Divisional Commissioner (Central Division) Anil Samal has moved to Puri. All these officials have been asked to move to the concerned districts with immediate effect.
“As per CM’s direction Sr officers deployed to oversee flood mgt in dist. Hemant Sharma Kendrapada DK Singh Ctc, Vishal Dev Balasore, BP Sethi Badhrak, VV Yadav Jajpur, Satyabrata Sahu JSpur, RDC CD Puri. They will proceed Asap,” tweeted Chief Secretary’s Office.
