CM seeks Gadkari’s intervention for early completion of 4-lane bridge over Kanupur Spill Channel

Odisha

Bhubaneswar, November 26: Expressing concern over the delay in execution of four-lane bridge over Kanupur Spill Channel of Rimuli-Roxy-Rajamunda Section of NH-215, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has urged Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari to urgently intervene.

In a letter to Gadkari on November 19, Patnaik said that further delay would lead to cost escalation and loss of benefit it is intended for.

“Odisha Government is taking all steps for the early completion of Kanupur Irrigation Project which will create irrigation potential of 2,95,78 Ha in the tribal dominated Keonjhar district and the bridge remains a major bottleneck in the completion of the balance components,” wrote Patnaik.
