COVID-19: 371 more recover; Cured tally rises to 3,23,749

Bhubaneswar, December 26: As many as 371 more Covid patients recovered in Odisha on Saturday, taking the number of persons cured of the virus in the State to 3,23,749 on Saturday, informed the Health and Family Welfare Department.

According to the department, the highest number of 47 Covid patients recovered in Khurda district, followed by 38 in Sundargarh, 32 in Angul, 28 each in Bolangir and Cuttack, 27 in Sambalpur, 20 in Keonjhar, 16 each in Balasore, Jajpur and Mayurbhanj, 15 in Nuapada, 11 in Jagatsinghpur, nine in Kendrapada, eight in Bargarh, seven in Jharsuguda, six each in Dhenkanal and Koraput, five in Bhadrak, four each in Gajapati and Ganjam, three each in Kalahandi, Nabarangpur, Puri and Rayagda, two each in Malkangiri and Sonepur and one each recovered in Deogarh and Nayagarh.

Besides, 10 recoveries were reported from the State pool, it stated.

Notably, the State recorded four deaths during the last 24 hours taking the number of Covid deaths to 1,857 on Saturday.

Similarly, the State’s Covid positive tally rose to 3,28,201 after 334 new positive cases were detected in the last 24 hours.
