Bhubaneswar, June 10: Southwest monsoon has set in over Odisha on Thursday, said the Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre of the IMD.
“Southwest #Monsoon has set in over #Odisha today, the 10th June 2021. Conditions are favourable for further advance of southwest monsoon into remaining parts of Odisha, during next 48 hours,” tweeted the Meteorological Centre.
According to the IMD bulletin, southwest monsoon has further advanced into some parts of Gujarat region, remaining parts of Maharashtra, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, some parts of south Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and south Odisha, remaining parts of the central Bay of Bengal and most parts of north Bay of Bengal today, the 10th June 2021
“Conditions are favourable for further advance of southwest monsoon into some more parts of Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, remaining parts of Chhattisgarh and Odisha, entire West Bengal and Jharkhand and some parts of Bihar and east Uttar Pradesh and remaining parts of north Bay of Bengal during the next 48 hours,” it said.
