Bhubaneswar, June 29: Suvendu Swain, an officer from Indian Postal Services of 1990 batch assumed the charge of Chief Postmaster General (CPMG), Odisha Postal Circle on Monday.
Swain has served the Department in different States namely Madhya Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, North East, Delhi, Tamil Nadu, Bihar and Uttar Pradesh in different capacities before being elevated to the present post of CPMG Odisha Circle.
A multi-talented human being, Swain has vast knowledge and experience in the field of Art, Culture and Education, apart from being an efficient postal officer. He has earlier worked as Director Postal Services (HQ) in this Circle. The members of staff and officers welcomed him as Head of the Circle.
