Cuttack, July 1: Chief Justice of Orissa High Court Justice S. Muralidhar on Thursday inaugurated 15 Fast Track Special Courts (FTSCs) dealing with cases under POCSO Act and rape cases through virtual mode.
The courts were opened in Cuttack, Balasore, Bhadrak, Bolangir, Dhenkanal, Ganjam, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Kalahandi, Kendrapara, Khurda, Koraput, Kandhamal, Rayagada and Sambalpur. Further, the Court of Civil Judge (Junior Division)-Cum-JMFC at Ersama in Jagatsinghpur and the Court of Civil Judge (Junior Division)-Cum-JMFC at Polasara in Ganjam were also opened.
Kumari Justice Sanju Panda, Justices SK Mishra, CR Dash, Biswajit Mohanty, Dr BR Sarangi, S Pujahari, Biswanath Rath, SK Sahoo, KR Mohapatra, Justice BP Routray and SK Panigrahi – all are judges of the Orissa High Court – attended the event through video conferencing
