Bhubaneswar, January 26: Governor Prof Ganeshi Lal unfurled the national flag at the 73rd State-level Republic Day celebrations here on Wednesday. The function was held at Mahatma Gandhi Marg. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik was also present at the function.
The State-level Republic Day Parade Ceremony was held at with strict adherence to COVID-19 protocol.
The Governor graced the occasion as the chief guest and took salute of the parade.
At least 10 contingents participated in the parade. 2019-batch IPS officer Rohit Verma commanded the parade.
BSF for the first time participated in the ceremony.
Development Commissioner Pradeep Kumar Jena, Twin City Police Commissioner Saumendra Priyadarsi received among many other dignitaries attended the ceremony.
