Bhubaneawar, August 1: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday unveiled the jersey of Odisha Juggernauts, the State’s franchise in the first edition of the Ultimate Kho Kho to be held in Pune from August 15.
The Chief Minister launched the jersey at the Kalinga Stadium here. He also interacted with the coach and players and wished them the very best for their league.
The CM said that, “The development of indigenous sports like Kho Kho has been a focus and Odisha teams have performed commendably well at national level.”
He also hoped that the new team will give added impetus to the sport in the state and draw more players, especially from the rural belts.
