Bhubaneswar, November 17: Former Chief Secretary and current Chairperson of the Odisha Electricity Regulatory Commission (OEEC) Suresh Chandra Mahapatra has been appointed as the Chief Advisor, Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), said an official statement on Friday.
According to a CMO release, Mohapatra, upon his request was allowed to relinquish from the post of OERC.
Similarly, R.Balakrishnan, at present Chief Advisor, Special Initiatives in the rank of Chief Secretary will continue as such and he is relieved from his additional charge of Chief Advisor, Chief Minister’s Office, it added.
Former Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy at present the Chairman of Western Odisha Development Council upon his request was allowed to relinquish all his additional charges of Principal Advisor, the statement further said.
