Miniature Ram Temple made using chalk & matchsticks in Odisha ahead of ‘Pran Pratishtha’

Bhubaneswar, January 21: Amid huge excitement across the country on the inauguration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, L. Eshwar Rao, a miniature artist from Jatni in Odisha created a miniature Ram Temple using chalk and matchsticks.

It took Rao, a devotee of Lord Hanuman, seven days to create the miniature temple. Additionally, a miniature idol of Lord Hanuman, made of chalk, has been placed in the temple.

He is also urging all Ram devotees to light an earthen lamp in their houses on the evening of January 22 and welcome the Lord by offering arua rice and betel nuts.

The inauguration ceremony of Ram Temple will take place on Monday with several dignitaries. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lead the sacred rituals in the presence of other yajmans, with saints and seers guiding the ceremony.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will also attend the event.

Over 7, 000 people are expected to participate in the mega event from different walks of life. Among the invitees include cricket stars MS Dhoni, Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli and Bollywood stars Amitabh Bachchan, Rajnikanth, Alia Bhatt, and Anushka Sharma, among others.
