Odisha CM felicitates Mangala Muduli, the first Bonda tribe boy who clears NEET in first attempt

Bhubaneswar, August 29: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Thursday felicitated Mangala Muduli, a Bonda tribe boy, who has created history by clearing NEET-2024 in the first attempt and allotted a MBBS seat at MKCG Medical College and Hospital, Berhampur, at Lokseva Bhawan here.

The Chief Minister felicitated Muduli with a laptop and uttariya and assured all possible supports in his study.

Muduli, the 19-year-old boy, had completed his schooling at Mudulipada SSD High School and pursued his higher education at SSD Higher Secondary School, Baladiaguda, Mathili, run by the SC and ST Development Department.

After cracking this year’s National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET), Mangala is set to become the first member of Bonda, a particularly vulnerable tribal group (PVTG) and one of the oldest tribes of India.
