Bhubaneswar, September 3: The Odisha Government on Tuesday appointed six IAS officers of 2022 batch as Sub-Collectors of different Sub-Divisions.
The new assignments were given to the IAS officers on completion Phase-II training.
According to a notification issued by the General Administration and Public Grievances Department, Akshay Pillay has been appointed as Sub-Collector of Bonai while Prahlad Narayan Sharma is the new Sub-Collector of Athagarh.
Arugula Sneha posted as Sub-Collector Padampur and Akavaram Sasya Reddy as new Sub-Collector of Jeypore.
Besides, the State Government has appointed Samir Kumar Jena and Soumyaranjan Pradhan as Sub-Collector of Talcher and Rairangpur, respectively.
The State Government has appointed all the IAS Officers as Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDMs), exercising the powers conferred under section 14(4) of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, the notification said.
