Bhubaneswar, February 28: The Odisha Government on Friday effected a major reshuffle in senior IPS cadre and appointed new DCPs in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack as part of the rejig.
While Cuttack DCP Jagmohan Meena has been appointed as Bhubaneswar DCP, Balangir SP Khilari Rishikesh Dnyandeo has been posted as Cuttack DCP.
1989 Batch IPS S M Narvane has been appointed as new Special DG of Odisha Human Rights Commission (OHRC), 1997 Batch IPS Diptesh Kumar Pattanaik has been posted as the new Director Printing Stationary and Publication.
While 2000 Batch IPS Yatindra Koyal is new ADG HRPC, while 2002 Batch IPS S Praveen Kumar is new IGP Central Range another 2002 Batch IPS Narasingha Bhol is new Additional Commissioner of Police.
While 2004 Batch IPS Deepak Kumar is new IGP Operations, 2005 Batch IPS J N Pankaj is new IGP Intelligence. Similarly, 2007 Batch IPS Sarthank Sarangi is new IGP CID-CB.
Similarly, 2007 Batch IPS Niti Sekhar is new IGP Southern Range, while 2008 Bath IPS Umashankar Dash is new DIG Home Guards and Fire Services.
