Bhubaneswar: Online admission process for Plus II courses will begin from June 6. Last date for applying online is June 20 (11.45 pm). No offline application will be done this year.
Students can apply for different streams – Arts, Science, Commerce and Vocational – in more than 1,600 colleges across the State between 11 am on June 6 and 11.45 pm on June 20. Students who have successfully qualified the annual High School Certificate Examination (HSC) or Matric examination can apply for online admission.
The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education has advised the students to read through the Common Application Form (CAF) carefully before filling up the form. The online CAF will be available on www.samodisha.gov.in starting June 6 (11 am).
While enrolement of selected students will be done between June 28 and July 2, the second phase merit list and cut-off mark will be released July 8 and admission will be held between July 9 and 11.
The list of vacant seats will be published July 16 and admission into these vacant seats will be held between July 20 and 22.
Classes for first year Plus II will commence from July 24.
This year girls outshined boys with 2,05,470 girls came out with flying colours while 1,91,655 boys passed the Matric exam.
