Bhubaneswar: One more Covid-19 positive patient from Bhubaneswar recovered after his last two tests turned out to be negative. With this, the State is now left with 49 active novel coronavirus cases.
“Happy to share that one more COVID-19 positive case from Bhubaneswar has recovered and is being discharged,” tweeted the Health and Family Welfare Department. With this the total recoveries of the State stood at 33.
The State has so far reported 83 Coronavirus positive cases, of which Bhubaneswar alone reported 46 positive cases.
Of the 46 cases reported in Bhubaneswar, 23 persons have been cured and discharged from hospitals while one person has succumbed to the disease.
In a big relief, Bhubaneswar which has become a hotspot, has not reported not a single positive case in last one week. And after it was confirmed that there is no local transmission in these areas the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) lifted the containment zone tag from Jharpada, Surya Nagar and Satya Nagar areas on Wednesday.
