Bhubaneswar: A total of 19,318 students (74.95%) have cleared the Plus-II Commerce examinations, results of which were declared on Wednesday by School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash here.
“As many as 25,772 students have appeared the Plus-II Commerce examinations. Out of it, 19,318 students have cleared the test. This year the pass percentage stands at 74.95% which is 4.69% high than the last year’s 70.26%,” said Minister Dash.
Out of the 16,648 male students who have appeared the examinations, 12,215 have passed the test while 7,103 female students out of 9,124 have cleared the Plus-II Commerce test.
A total of 6,610 students have secured first division followed by 4,259 in second division and 8,361 in third division, respectively.
While Nayagarh district topped in rate of pass percentage at 88.70%, Deogarh recorded lowest pass rate at 34.17%.
According to the Minister, 29 higher secondary schools registered 100% pass while two junior colleges recorded nil results in the examinations.
